Shelter Challenge

Centennial Park

Sydney & Surrounds

Who can build the most waterproof – cubby house?

The focus of the Park’s Autumn OOSH programs is shelter, the first priority of survival when in the bush. This season’s kids’ activities include making a lean-to debris shelter (cubby house) with natural loose parts, tarp craft games, knot, cordage and rope skills.

The group will then have an opportunity to add decoration to their finished shelters and engage in imaginative play around their cubbies.

Where: The WILD PLAY Discovery Centre – Centennial Park
Dates: 14 – 30 April 2025 (excl Wednesdays)
Session Times: between 9am – 3pm

Special Cancellation Fees apply to this activity. Please refer to our documentation page for further information.

What's Included?

What a great excursion! The children loved getting wet and exploring the mangroves. We're going back in the autumn holidays.
